Spend a morning at the apiaries of Ameena Bin Kalli, the first female Emirati beekeeper and founder of ABK, on an experience Travel Indigenous designed with her. Put on a protective suit, walk among the hives and see how a colony lives and how honey is made. Then taste honey from Emirati pastures, from Sidr and Samar to Ghaf and mangrove, depending on the season.
Ameena’s apiaries are not open to walk-in visitors; the UAE Honey Trail is the way to visit.
